What happens when you create a hybrid of Picasso and Braque’s Synthetic Cubism and the Pop Art of Andy Warhol? Here my love and knowledge of Modern art manifested itself in the form of my Coca-Cola paintings. This is how you take one the world’s most recognized commercial icons and transform that product into fine art. This is my response to cliche’d paintings of wine bottles. We didn’t drink wine with our meals like Europeans, like many America’s we treated ourselves to a Coke and a smile.
